The SEES Group is pleased to welcome Jamie Houser, OD, to our Plessen Ophthalmology-St. Thomas USVI clinic location.
Dr. Houser specializes in therapeutic ophthalmology and is a certified glaucoma specialist. She graduated magna cum laude with her BS in Biomedical science from Texas A&M University and summa cum laude from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in Houston, Texas. While pursuing her doctor of optometry degree, Dr. Houser received extensive training in the areas of corneal diseases and treatment, retinal diseases such as diabetes and glaucoma, and vision therapy from some of the top doctors in the Houston area.
She also enjoys complex contact lens fits and working with children. She has received many awards including Excellence in Family Practice, Excellence in Contact Lens, and the Dr. Zipper Award for Leadership and Character.
Dr. Houser is a member of several state and local optometric organizations including the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Harris County Optometric Society. We are excited to welcome Dr. Houser to the Plessen Ophthalmology team.
