The SEES Group celebrated the grand opening of the Eye Surgery Center of Homewood earlier this week. The new state-of-the-art ophthalmology surgery center is conveniently located off Interstate 65 and Lakeshore Blvd. at 200 Wildwood Parkway in Homewood, Alabama.
The Center features three operating suites and one laser procedure room. The physician surgical team at the Homewood facility includes ophthalmologists Matthew Albright, MD; Donald McCurdy, MD; Michael Eddins, MD; Dale Brown, MD; Jeffrey Fuller, MD; Kristin Madonia, MD; and Irene Ludwig, MD, Pediatric Ophthalmology. The team specializes in cataract, glaucoma, corneal, retinal and oculoplastic surgical procedures.
“Our team looks forward to providing the residents of Homewood and the surrounding areas the best quality patient care and excellent customer service,” shared Amanda Harris, Clinical Manager for the Center.
The Eye Surgery Center of Homewood will support clinical operations at VisionAmerica, a medical and surgical eye care practice with multiple locations throughout Alabama.
