The SEES Group is pleased to welcome consultative optometrist, Whitney H. Powell, OD to our VisionAmerica location in Huntsville and our McCoy Vision locations in Huntsville and Scottsboro, Alabama. Dr. Powell specializes in ocular disease and perioperative care for eye surgery patients.
Dr. Powell completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Alabama, Florence, AL, She earned her doctor of optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry and completed residency at Eye Center of Texas, Houston, TX. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Powell shares what she loves most about being an optometrist. “I love the personal connection that develops through one-on-one conversations with patients.”
When she is away from the office. Dr. Powell enjoys hiking with her husband and Pilates.
