SEES Group is pleased to welcome Raymond DeBarge, MD, to our VisionAmerica locations in Huntsville and Scottsboro, Alabama. Dr. DeBarge is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and general ophthalmology surgery.
Dr. DeBarge earned his undergraduate degree from Augusta College, Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, University of Georgia. He completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA and his ophthalmology and internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine – Chattanooga. Along with cataract and general ophthalmology surgery, he brings with him a unique skill set having completed a fellowship in Uveitis and Ocular Immunology at the National Eye Institute’s Laboratory of Immunology.
Prior to joining SEES Group and the VisionAmerica team, Dr. DeBarge was the owner of a successful ophthalmology practice in Ft Oglethorpe, GA and Jasper, TN. When he is away from the office, he enjoys spending time as a vintner at his vineyard and winery in North Georgia.
