The SEES Group is pleased to announce that Dr. Jennifer Murdock, MD, a fellowship-trained Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, will now be seeing patients at Plessen Ophthalmology locations in St. Thomas and St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, in addition to continuing her practice at Ocean Ophthalmology in North Miami Beach, Florida.
Dr. Murdock is board-certified in Ophthalmology and fellowship-trained through the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). She specializes in both functional and aesthetic procedures involving the eyes, eyelids, orbit, and face, including cosmetic injections, eyelid and orbital reconstruction, pediatric oculoplastics, and treatment for complex conditions such as thyroid eye disease.
A native of Houston, Dr. Murdock’s academic path began at the University of Miami, where she earned a dual Bachelor of Science in Biology and Marine Science with a minor in Art History. She earned her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, followed by ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine and an elite ASOPRS fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University.
Her unique blend of scientific rigor and artistic sensibility informs her precise, personalized approach to facial surgery. Dr. Murdock is also a published researcher, conference speaker, and clinical educator, serving as adjunct faculty for the Larkin Community Hospital Ophthalmology Residency Program. Her commitment to advancing the field has been recognized by accolades including Texas Monthly’s Texas Top Doctor: Rising Stars, Best in Texas Magazine’s Excellence in Medicine, and Castle Connolly Top Doctors.
Patients in the USVI will now have local access to Dr. Murdock’s highly specialized care at both Plessen Ophthalmology clinic locations in St. Thomas and St. Croix.
